The newest trend among golf clubs is adjustable weighting or external weighting. In the Callaway FT-iQ driver, Callaway choose to do an external weighting design. This allowed Callaway to strategically place weights in the rear corners of the standard FT-iQ driver to minimize fades and slices. In the tour version, the weights are neutral.

Callaway didn't stop at those technologies. They sought out the best graphite shaft and found it in the Mitsubishi Rayon Fubuki shaft. This is a high performance graphite shaft that produces tour level launch angles and low spin creating added distance.
